Summary of duties

Thought is a digital consultancy that builds bespoke web applications for numerous different clients and sectors. We work with a wide range of businesses, from small start-ups to large enterprises, to create custom solutions that meet their unique needs. Our team of 10 is passionate about delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional customer service.

We are currently seeking a UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing user-focused interfaces that meet the needs of our clients and their customers. You will work closely with our development team and clients to gather requirements, create wireframes and prototypes, and deliver high-quality designs that meet business objectives.

Key areas of responsibility

• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Develop high-quality visual designs that meet business objectives
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and best practices

Experience & skills

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field
• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design or related field
• Strong design portfolio showcasing user-focused designs
• Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• Experience with HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
