Summary of duties

Thought is a digital consultancy that builds bespoke web applications for numerous different clients and sectors. We work with a wide range of businesses, from small start-ups to large enterprises, to create custom solutions that meet their unique needs. Our team of 10 is passionate about delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional customer service.

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our clients and development team to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop detailed project specifications. You will be responsible for researching business environments, industry trends, and customer needs to inform your analysis and recommendations.

Key areas of responsibility

• Work with clients to identify and document business requirements
• Conduct research and analysis to inform project specifications
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure project success
• Communicate project progress to clients and stakeholders

Experience & skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
• Experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC) is a plus
